Hi, I am Andrea Hansen.

Lover of all things photography!

Since I can remember, if anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was a photographer.

I always dreamed of going to the Brooks Institute of Photography. When I was twenty-three, after a little college and a handful of jobs that made me unhappy, I decided it was time for me to do something important with my life. A few months later I was packed up and living in Santa Barbara attending Brooks Institute of Photography. Two years later I moved back to Oregon and finished up my degree at the Marylhurst University with a Bachelors in Business and Photography.

After graduation, I worked for the Portland Winterhawks planning events. With the Winterhawks, I planned everything from a Stanley Cup Celebration that drew thousands of people downtown to game night events. I continued to work for the Winterhawks until becoming a mother to my beautiful son, Cole. Cole helped me to pick up and dust off my camera. A couple years later my beautiful daughter Cena was born.

My Family

My children and Husband are my daily inspiration. My Husband builds custom horse barns around the nation. His support for our Family and for myself has been a huge blessing. I am loving my life raising our babies and using my skills and my passion for photography to run my business.

Photography

My favorite part of my job is getting to meet babies as newborns and then getting to watch them grow up to be sassy, adorable toddlers, to big kids graduating high school. Getting to talk with Moms about our children and the ups and downs of raising our kiddos, to chasing around the children and getting to capture their true expressions. This is all what makes my job fun and exciting and keeps my passion alive.
